Accounting courses can help your career because they can give you the skills and knowledge you need to make sure you have what it takes to get your books done properly. Now I confidently work out my own taxes, I do all the relevant paperwork, and because I have an Australian Finance Services License, I’m able to give general and personal advice.

RG146 Certification

The great thing about the course I took, and indeed a lot of the courses that are available here, is they ensure you have an RG146 certificate, this certificate proves you are able to give advice, and this is something a lot of employers look for. Although I didn’t set out to get this certificate, I have found it quite useful as I’m able to offer more services than I ever thought I would.
